To the memory of Bernard who employed me in 1983 after my return from two years in the USA. I spent eleven tremendously happy years at Crawley Warren which I will always remember & cherish. I offer my sincere sympathy & condolences to Sheila & all the family. I was so pleased to be able to attend Bernard's funeral yesterday - the service & the gathering after was a true testament to a "Gentleman of Lloyd's" & a very successful businessman of which I am sure you are all justly proud. Sincerely, Keith Steed

Connie, Jill, Ann and Chris were so sad to hear of Bernard's passing. Bernard was a true gentleman and was greatly respected by our dad. He and Sheila were a great comfort to us all when Laurie died.
Our sincere and fondest thoughts are with Sheila and the family at this sad time.
With much love from the Cooper "girls". xxx

Just wanted to send our sincere condolances and thoughts to your family. Cathy and I have very fond memories of Bernard. He was the first person to sponsor me on the Tour and help me on my way and I can honestly say that all that I have done in my career is thanks to his faith in me at the beginning. We will be thinking of you on 8th February. Sincere wishes, Roger and Cathy Chapman
